Hello, Daddy_Original Musical

Original Musical "Hello, Daddy" - Written by Jihye Jang Composed by Jeehye Choi (Charlotte Choi) Directed by Yeeun Jung Piano by Jisoo Kim Guitar by Daeun Kim - “#1 Hello” "#2a Paradise” “#2 내가 꿈꾸는 날들(The days I dream of)” “#3 깜박이는 내 인생(My Life is a Used Light Bulb)” “#4 I Am Star Korea” “#6 밀어내(Push Away)” "#8 처음이자 마지막(The first and last)” “#10내려와(Come down)” “#13 안녕, 아빠(Hello, Daddy and Good Bye, Daddy)” - “Pil Seung” is a famous singer in Korea, and he falls in love with “Maria,” a tour guide in the Philippines. After Pil Seung’s return to Korea, Maria realizes that she is pregnant, and raises her boy “Dong Soo” alone after losing contact with Pil Seung. Like father like son, Dong Soo becomes passionate about singing and aims to become a singer like Pil Seung. Maria eventually tells Dong Soo about his father in Korea. Dong Soo applies for an audition program in Korea and passes the preliminary round. He persuades Maria to let him go, to meet his father and live his dream of becoming a singer in Korea. Dong Soo’s performances and his touching story attracts the audience round after round, but the head producer of the program has already rigged the program for another winner and becomes weary of Dong Soo’s unexpected popularity. Pil Seung on the other hand, is now a has-been, old-hat pop star who is actually about to break a strong comeback. Pil Seung refuses to admit Dong Soo as his blood, as he is afraid of public criticism after people realize that he abandoned his own son. Regardless of the producer’s sabotage and his own father’s rejection, he sings in attempt to understand his father, and with his heart full of love for his family.

(My Blanket is Heavy)-Charlotte Choi

[My Blanket is Heavy] Music and words by Charlotte Choi Arranged by Charlotte Choi Produced by Charlotte Choi My blanket is heavy It's dangerous outside the bed Someone is next to me 그의 이름은 누구도 몰라 No one knows his name 그는 나의 숨을 훔치고 He steals my breath 저 어둠속으로 in the dark 나를 밀어넣어 Pushes me 점점 가라앉아 I’m sinking now 나를 내버려둬 Please, leave me alone 다들 하나쯤은 갖고 있는 I am the only one 선물같은 재능이 who don’t have the gift-like talent 내겐 없는 것 같애 that everyone has 걱정도 사친것 같애 I don’t even have the luxury to worry about it 그럴듯 하게 꾸며진 in a plausible smile. It's just a desolate heart 이름 뿐인 자유 Nameless freedom 거짓 뿐인 자유- Fake freedom 날아가자 Let's fly 제일 깊은 땅 속으로 into the deepest ground 다시 돌아가자 Let's go back 엄마의 궁전 속으로 into my mother's palace(womb) 도망가자 Let's run 아무도 오지 못하는 To somewhere no one can come 나의 무거운 맘 속으로- into my heavy heart 자, 그러니까 이제 Now it’s time 이불 속으로 to go back into the blanket. My blanket is heavy It's dangerous outside the bed I'm just gonna be a bystander of my life Because I sleep every day to achieve my dream 그것은 내게 손짓하네 It beckons to me 나의 눈을 가려 Cover my eyes 나의 귀를 막아 Cover my ears 날 좀 구해줘,,, Please, somebody help me. I am the only one 막연한 희망조차 who don’t have the vague hope 내겐 없는 것 같애 that everyone has 훔칠수도 없는 거잖아 I know I can't even steal it 감춰보려 덮어놓은 There is only one thing 열등감속에 든 건 단 하나 hidden in my inferiority 이름 뿐인 자유 Nameless freedom 거짓 뿐인 자유 Fake freedom 어쩌라고요 So what? You want me to do something? I don’t even want to do anything. 어떡하라고요 Who cares? But I'm not sure why I need to do this. I just want to disappear I just want to be snowed under 자 그러니까 이제 So, now it’s time 이불 속으로 to go into the blanket. 날아가자 Let's fly 제일 깊은 땅 속으로 into the deepest ground 다시 돌아가자 Let's go back 엄마의 궁전 속으로 into my mother's palace(womb) 도망가자 Let's run 아무도 오지 못하는 To somewhere no one can come 나의 무거운 맘 속으로- into my heavy heart 자, 그러니까 이제 Now it’s time 이불 속으로 to go back into the blanket. My blanket is heavy It's dangerous outside the bed. My blanket is still heavy But is it really dangerous to get out of bed?
